As a University student, I have had my fair share of results days and still have quite a few to come 😅. Getting back results is something I don’t like (usually because I am pretty harsh on myself and set really high expectations for myself). I also find it stressful. But, I wanted to generally speak about exam results because I know it’s something that all students can relate to and most of us dread.
Bullying is something I realised I've experienced, but haven’t spoken about on here. I wanted to create a post with hope that maybe it can help someone else, can be relatable or start a conversation about it. I hope for those of you that can relate, that this brings comfort to you and reminds you that you are not alone.

Just because life is sometimes not so glamorous. It is adapted a little from a letter I wrote to myself. Couldn't post at the time because it was too recent, but it's here now with the hope that it might provide some comfort to someone who needs it.
Your best is always good enough regardless of the result. If you are doubting this, you are probably stressing about the expectations you have to meet or are a little disappointed... I feel you, which is why I am here to remind you (and myself- I see you future me) that you are perfectly capable. If for whatever reason, (because you are human and we all go wrong sometimes) you do not manage to meet what you were aiming for at some point- it is OKAY. It does not mean you are less worthy or less capable.

"You are not a mess, you are a feeling person in a messy world".

I came up with this idea to hopefully bring some comfort and joy to someone. The idea is that I write a series of letters/ notes anonymously to help lift spirits and make people feel less alone. We aren't always as honest and open with more difficult and negative feelings, which can leave us feeling lonely - I wanted to create a space that was truthful to more negative feelings we can all sometimes experience, yet bought some hope. A place that could be a safe haven or a little pick me up for people when they need it (including me).
After researching on the internet to see if something like this existed, I found that there were no blogs which had a section of anonymous letters or notes, or had written anonymous letters. However, I came across Letters left in London (https://lettersleftinlondon.tumblr.com) which is a blog that showcases someone's journey of leaving anonymous uplifting messages/letters in public spaces for strangers to find. Since that blog is older than mine, it is only right I mention it. It is a beautiful idea and blog so definitely go and check it out! These are a series of notes or letters, for anyone to read, but rather than being left in a public space outside, it is a section of my blog.
I hope that these put a smile on your face or bring comfort and encourage you to spread kindness and positivity into the world. But more than that, I hope it reminds you that you are never alone and that we can connect over feelings that as humans we all experience.
This section is starting off as letters or notes, but it might expand into an area of things that bring reassurance.
Have a beautiful day!
Help keep me going 🙂
