A little motivation...

It is no secret that things aren't the easiest at the moment (one look at the news along with whatever you may have going on in your personal life is enough to realise that). It can be really easy to lose hope or feel stuck. I am not going to state that we are currently in an ideal situation - we aren't. But, now more than ever, perspective and the way we choose to see things is more important than ever.

That doesn't mean we won't have moments where we will feel down - that is normal. I am just here to provide some of the motivation that I think may be helpful (also to myself because I am a normal human being that also sometimes ends up in a slump :) ).

Nothing last forever - this difficult situation it will be over. That is what we need to keep reminding ourselves when we feel down or feel like the hard moments will never end. There are better times ahead. Those happier moments will be worth the wait.

Now more than ever is a real test of our characters and who we are as people. I am trying to trick my mind into seeing this as a mind game (I am absolutely not stating this as a don't take the situation seriously - that is far from the point I am trying to make). Can we carry on being kind, not losing hope in situations which are uncertain and far from ideal? Show the world and better even, yourself that you can deal with hard situations well. You got this.

We all have to help each other out  - we are in it together. Stay safe and let's try and see this as a time to take things slower. The world is on pause now and we will spend more time by ourselves and can reconnect with ourselves.
